Barn #3

As the title suggests this is the third in the series. Needing opinions here, while I like the composition with the barn and the tree but, did I leave a little too much sky?

Yes I think you did Chuck. It kind of pulls the eye away from the subject. Beautiful composition other than that though. I love the trees on the knoll.
Good job.

Great shot Chuck. I love old buildings like this.

I tend to agree with Maggie on this. Beautiful shot, but to me with so much sky, the impact of the barn is lessened a bit.

You can do no wrong Chuck...it's good to highlight different aspects of your barn photos. I get the open space feeling, it's all good :)

I love this one Chuck...personally, I don't think there is any right or wrong way to take a picture. Balance between sky, the subject and foreground etc. is the norm, but not necessarily the "correct" way to take a picture per say.

To me, the abundance of this wonderful blue clear sky adds vastness, beauty, clarity and (no pun intended) an airy feel to this shot. It's gorgeous!

One can never have too much blue sky. Now if it had been a gray day...maybe. However, add a bunch of white puffy clouds, and I want more. :)

WOW, I LOVE it. I think there's only too much blue sky if your eye prefer's less of it. There's a grandness to the sky. I would love this one as it is and another one with more barn equally...but trust your eye. Your barn shots are magnificent!!! kath
