Howdy folks, well we hit -30c overnight. These passed few nights will be going a long way towards curing the slush problems on the local lakes. This particular shot was taken last October.
Great posts over the last few days Chuck. I have been not having much computer time over the last week. Your last few are nice and crisp. Looks cold to me :)
This a greeat shot chuck... well its not been that cold here down near london... infact our winter has been rather sad.. tho still cold for this little aussie to go out...lol cant wait for spring when new life starts to sprout!!!.. will keep an eye on your little blog some great photos:)
Ya you really get the feel of the weather in this one Chuck. I went for a walk this morning and it was cccccold. When I realized it was minus 32 I thought I was NUTS.
Tena koe ehoa Chuck an exceptional image. The crytalised ice refracting light is great. The overall tones and colour emphasise the chilly wintery feel.
Good evening Chuck, Thx for posting again in mistral. Well, I got a preference for this one instead of the last one. That's a great shot and I can't beleive you had -30 degrees!....
I've been taking photos since 1981 when I purchased my first 35 mm film camera. Currently I shoot with the Nikon D 50. I shoot in RAW format for the control it gives me in processing. Please feel free to leave comments, critiques, or suggestions. I'd love to hear from you.

Good to hear the slush is going away...I'm itching to go sledding in Parry Sound in March!
Great frost capture here...it looks sharp enough to prick your fingers!

That's cold, does that freeze your fuel? Lots of detail in the frost shot.

The icey stuff continues to awe me all the time. I love the different formations that everyone is finding.
Wow -30c ! Good we have +30c here in Manila ! :-)
Speaking of extremes !
Lovely picture to illustrate the cold !
That picture looks cold! I hear it's heading this way.

The formation the ice crystals create is cool!
